John 3:16 says, \u201cFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Everyone is a sinner<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and our sin separates us from the love that God wants to express toward us \u00a0\u201cFor all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;\u201d (Romans 3:23) \u201cBut your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you&#8230;\u201d (Isaiah 59:2). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jesus came to break down the barrier of sin. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBut God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us\u201d (Romans 5:8).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The death of Jesus satisfied all the requirements<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but Jesus did not stay dead. Three days later &#8211; Easter morning, He arose from the grave by His own power. \u201cHe is not here: for he is risen, as he said.\u201d (Matthew 28:6) \u201cNo man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.\u201d(John 10:18)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Having a relationship with God is not about being good or religious. It is claiming the work Jesus fulfilled on the cross. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jesus said in John 6:47, \u201cHe that believeth on me hath everlasting life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those who trust in Jesus are saved from the penalty and power of sin and will have eternal life in Heaven with God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFor whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved\u201d (Romans 10:13).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place your trust in Jesus today.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is a God and He loves you.
